Please read these terms carefully before booking. By paying your booking fee, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full. These terms form a binding agreement between you (the client) and We Love Parties (ABN 37 844 060 303), operated by Amanda Capellari, Burleigh Waters QLD 4220.

1. Booking & Payment

1.1
A booking is only confirmed once a non-refundable booking fee of 50% of the total invoice has been received. Your event date is not held until this fee is paid.
1.2
The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the event. For bookings made with less than 7 days notice, full payment is required at the time of booking.
1.3
Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking. The booking fee will not be refunded in this case.
1.4
For bookings made through third-party platforms (such as Rentsy), any platform fees or commissions charged by that platform are non-refundable regardless of the circumstances.
1.5
Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other methods confirmed in writing. Payments must be made in Australian dollars (AUD).

2. Security Bond

2.1
A refundable security bond of $150 to $500 (amount confirmed at booking based on the size of the installation) may be required for all bookings involving hired equipment.
2.2
The bond covers damage, loss, theft, excessive cleaning, misuse, or failure to return hired items in their original condition.
2.3
The bond will be refunded within 3 business days of collection and inspection of all items, provided no damage or loss has occurred.
2.4
If damages, loss, or cleaning costs exceed the bond amount, the client agrees to pay the additional amount within 7 days of being invoiced.

3. Damage, Loss & Misuse

3.1
The client is responsible for all hired items from the time of setup until collection by We Love Parties. This responsibility includes damage caused by guests, children, pets, venue staff, other contractors, or any third party.
3.2
Hired items include but are not limited to: wooden backdrops, arch covers, balloon installations, plinth tables, cut-outs, artificial flowers, vinyl decals, signs, and decorative accessories.
3.3
Items must not be climbed on, leaned against, moved, dragged, kicked, sat on, or used in any way other than as decorative displays. Children must be supervised at all times around all installations.
3.4
A cleaning fee of $75 to $150 will be charged if items are returned with food, drinks, mud, paint, glitter, or other substances requiring additional cleaning beyond normal use.

4. Safety

4.1
Decorative installations are not structural and are not designed to bear weight. No person should lean against, hang from, or place any weight on any installation.
4.2
The client accepts full responsibility for ensuring that guests behave safely around all installations throughout the event.
4.3
We Love Parties accepts no liability for injuries resulting from misuse, climbing, moving, tampering with, or unsafe interaction with decorations after setup has been completed.
4.4
Latex balloons are a choking hazard. Burst balloon fragments must be kept away from children under 8 and pets. We Love Parties accepts no responsibility for incidents arising from unsupervised access to balloons after setup.

5. Outdoor Events & Weather

5.1
The client is responsible for providing a suitable, safe, and level location for all outdoor installations. We Love Parties reserves the right to refuse setup in an unsafe location.
5.2
Balloons and installations are affected by weather conditions including strong winds, rain, storms, and extreme heat. We Love Parties will take reasonable care but cannot guarantee the appearance or stability of outdoor setups in adverse weather.
5.3
Latex balloons exposed to sunlight will naturally oxidise over time, developing a matte or cloudy appearance. This is a normal characteristic of latex and is not considered a defect.
5.4
Balloons are not guaranteed to last for any specific period after setup. No refunds will be provided for deterioration after setup is complete.
5.5
We Love Parties reserves the right to modify, relocate, delay, or cancel an outdoor setup if weather conditions are considered unsafe. No refund will be provided if the client declines a safe indoor alternative.

6. Cancellation Policy

6.1
If the client cancels, the following fees apply based on notice provided before the event date:

6.2
Custom and personalised items (including vinyl decals, printed signs, specialty balloons, and custom decorations) are non-refundable once ordered, regardless of cancellation timing.
6.3
Any third-party platform fees (e.g. Rentsy) are non-refundable in all circumstances.
6.4
If We Love Parties cancels the booking due to circumstances within our control, a full refund of all amounts paid will be provided within 5 business days. No further liability applies.

7. Collection & Late Access

7.1
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all hired installations are for a maximum hire period of 5 hours from the time of setup. Collection occurs on the same day as the event.
7.2
If We Love Parties is unable to collect at the agreed time due to venue restrictions or client requests, a late collection fee of $50 per hour (or part thereof) will be charged.
7.3
If the client requires We Love Parties to wait longer than 30 minutes for venue access at setup, an additional waiting fee of $75 per hour will apply.

8. Changes to Bookings

8.1
Changes to confirmed bookings requested less than 14 days before the event cannot be guaranteed and are accepted at We Love Parties' sole discretion.
8.2
Any additional costs resulting from approved changes will be invoiced and must be paid prior to the event.
8.3
Personalised vinyl decals require approximately 10 business days for production. Requests made with less lead time may not be possible and will not be grounds for a refund.

9. Delivery & Travel

9.1
Standard package pricing includes delivery, setup, and collection within 15km of Burleigh Waters QLD 4220.
9.2
Travel beyond 15km will incur a surcharge of $1.50 per kilometre, calculated on the total distance for the full delivery and collection round trip.

10. Photography & Marketing

10.1
We Love Parties reserves the right to photograph completed setups and use those images for marketing, advertising, social media, and website content.
10.2
If you do not wish for your setup to be photographed for marketing purposes, you must notify us in writing at the time of booking.

11. Force Majeure

11.1
We Love Parties shall not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or inability to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, government restrictions, venue closures, serious illness, or supplier failures.
11.2
In the event of a force majeure cancellation by We Love Parties, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, a credit or refund will be discussed in good faith.

12. Governing Law

12.1
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
12.2
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).

Acceptance of These Terms

Payment of the booking fee constitutes your full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
